Pavia Risk Centre (PaRC) refers to a knowledge hub located in the North-Italian city of Pavia, where several organisations with various areas of expertise work in each other’s vicinity on a common aim: profound understanding of different types of risk, natural and man-made, in order to develop approaches and technologies and to construct systems that reduce the consequences of these events on structures and infrastructure, avoiding above all the loss of human life.
PaRC is not an organisation, it is a brand that aims to promote excellence in research and activities related to seismic and other risks in this city in the region of Lombardy.
www.paviariskcentre.org is hence a window to all activities that are carried out; read more about our vision on the website.
The Report on the activities taking place at the Pavia Risk Centre is now available.
